Our web stats are powered by AWStats (Advanced Web Statistics). AWStats is a powerful tool that generates a wide range of reports on how your website is accessed.

The generated pages are pretty much self-explanatory. But, if you need more in depth information, the AWStats Documentation is quite comprehensive.

The Apache web server records details about your website - files requested and errors that occur.

You can 'tail' (look at the most recent entries) each log file in the web browser - this can be useful if you are trying to debug CGI scripts etc.

Alternatively, you can download a compressed file containing the entire log.

Each month you are allowed to upload/download/serve files to a certain limit.

When you log into the admin system, you can immediately see what percentage of this month's bandwidth you have used up (rounded up to the nearest %).

The bandwidth report script gives you a better breakdown of bandwidth usage, showing the daily transfer amounts for the last 30 days, along with monthly summaries for the past 12 months.

By checking your bandwidth usage, you can (hopefully :) see if you are likely to hit your monthly transfer cap.
